{~} Computers for losers {~}

During summer time, the public school administration where my son goes asked parents for help cleaning up the premises. The chores were pretty straightforward : painting some billboards, dusting off some radiating heaters (1940's heavy duty type), cleaning the windows, and so on. Only a handful of parents showed up, unsurprisingly. I say unsurprisingly because parents in Quebec who are involved in their children's school affairs are a very tiny minority.Maybe it has something to do with school comissions, maybe it has to do with the cultural aversion to education, or maybe sometimes just plain lazyness, but it has an impact on the children's future and, by extension, OUR future.
Anyway, a handful of parents showed up and we managed to do a little difference on the school appearance. It seems it was not enough so the school admin hired a temporary janitor who was in rebound from some other place and was participating in a reinsertion program.
That is the theory offered to back up the explanation for the disappearance of the computers in the school's kintergarden where my son goes after school. I'm not sure about the story offered but whoever stole those computers, the first generation iMacs, is a complete loser and utter moron.

No, I mean, this guy is an absolute coward. Unable to set up a plan to rob real money to get rich or to come up with a fraud or a scam to get money from loaded people, he just takes away computers from a school in one of the poorest districts in North America. The thief, whoever he is, reminds me of this cokenose who used to leech everybody when I was living in Ste-Foy -- one of the most horrible places to live in the world -- a dude called Alain who was coming into my apartment to blast haschisch using our butter knives and our stove, who "offered" rides with his bad car, and asking us for money and cheated his adoptive parents by filching their pension fund and then having his stepsister taking the blame.
This total loser was stealing CDs in my collection. He was not stealing CDs to make money or because he was poor. He was just stealing money because he could, and because he needed to pay his drug addiction. I got revenge on that loser, but unfortunately the school computer thief still remains a mystery.
Lucky for him...
